This piece produces wonderfully lush sub tones, an even tone all the way up the register, with popping and focused altissimos. The baffle is a "roll over" type, and it goes all the way to the chamber opening, where it drops off in a small semi-circle shape. The chamber is medium-large. Underneath the rails is "straight", not "scooped out". The facing is medium-long. Most important to is how all the factors come together. I would describe the playability as easy and versatile. The sound can be dark, but it can also be played a little brighter. These mouthpieces are "easy to control", and have little or no "buzz", which allows the player to produce a clear and rich sound.
