We accept any instrument, in any condition, including saxphones, mouthpieces, flutes, clarinets, tubas, guitars, trumpets, trombones, banjos, drums.... you name it, we will accept it as a trade towards a CE Winds Saxophone, flute, or mouthpiece!

Consignments

CE Winds will help you sell your instrument at the fairest current market value. If you have an item that you want to sell, and are willing to wait for the right buyer, we can list your item for sale in our web store online where we receive over 30,000 visitors per month! We also have a database of buyers that are willing to pay top dollar for your item.

Here is how it works:

Email us with detailed information about your item, including asking price and pictures if possible. Once we evaluate your item by email we will give you an estimated market value based on recent sales of instruments similar to yours. If you choose to sell your item, carefully pack and ship the item to our warehouse. The address is:

Once we receive your item we will have our professional technicians evaluate it and let us know if there is any work that needs to be done on the instrument to ensure the future buyer they are getting exactly what they paid for. If you choose, you can use our discount volume repair pricing and have the necessary repairs made, or you can sell the item as is. The instrument is then professionally cleaned, photographed, and listed for sale by email, eBay and/or on our website. Once the item sells (usually within 30-90 days) and the payment has cleared, we professionally pack and ship the item to the buyer and wait for two weeks to make sure they are satisfied with their purchase. Once we receive positive feedback, or two weeks pass, whichever comes first, your payment is processed and you receive it within 3 business days.

Fees generally range between 19%-30%, including all fees. Each item is evaluated individually and the percentage is determined on the value, and the amount of work/restoration needed for the item.

Our purchasing department is always ready to send you a fast payment for your musical instrument! Once we receive the item you can receive your payment within 3-7 business days. (sometimes sooner if you choose Paypal as your method of payment!)

Remember, our offers are based on several factors, including restoration/repair costs and current market value, and we also must include a profit margin to resell the instrument. If you are in need to sell your instrument fast, don't take it to a pawn shop, contace us first! If you want more money for your item, but are willing to be patient, then consignment is the best option for you.
